I was reading ditch_gospel's fan fictions recs got tired went to lay down.heard loud arguing outside hope that it wasn't my daughter getting into something were i had to go out this early to save her ass from certain death
in other words her mouth writing a check her ass can't cash,anyway stayed on the front porch steps near the bottom and watched as 3 or maybe more police cars pulled up on our street.I heard the voices didn't sound familiar to me looked on for a little while then came back up stairs to resume my sleep called her friend's house just to be on the safe side ,5 minutes later my phone rings it's her telling me that this woman was drunk came up in her friends face looking to fight with her so they jumped her don't ask and i'll tell you no lies she was spending the night, my bad i don't have my children out side that early in the morning unless they are with me to begin with so moving on i told her to be back home before the afternoon we needed to have another talk about when she stays at her friends house she should still be inside regardless of who's outside she shouldn't have been out there she's only 13 see where i'm going with this?If something happens to her it's my fault/but what about the other adults outside shouldn't there children have been inside themselves? Remember it's early in the morning and i'm tired my body aches my dam thyriodism is acting up something awful and i'm in constant pain and on top of all of that nobody thinks anything is wrong with these young children being out this late/early in the morning maybe it's just me.

i guess you have to talk to the parents of your child's friends to let them know what your policies are.
they may not be aware of it.

I have stated this to the parents that when my child littlt geri stay over nite she's to be in the house regardless of the fact if her girls are outside with them,because my child is only 13 and i have very strict rules concerning her where abouts when not in my prescence or herstep father's. Remember i might have mention i was using my friends computer at certain times because mines being repaired well that is the person whose house i was at and i told her geri is to be in her house by at least 10:00 on the weekend and sent home on school nites early. she agreed but then it's like i never said anything.her girls age are 11/15 but her 11 y.o is very big for her age she looks older than 11. if you didn't know her you would think that she was infact older than my daughter.I'm older than there mother by 7 years myself.

no your not old fashioned, or i am as well. i have a 8yo boy and i never let him out later than 7pm and no earler to play that 10am with supervision.

hugs it can be hard being a caring peront. the kid harly ever see at the time why we feel the need to potect them.
sigh.

Well my daughter decided to make her entrance this afternoon and i told her everytime her friends are fighting she does not have to get involved
her response to me was so their my friends. I'm like so M.F.W. i'm your mother not their's and if something happens to you who'll get the phone call them or me? Now the person they had fought with came back on the block with 2 other females.i told my dumb ass daughter stay in the house until i come back from the store does she listen nooooooooooooooo she has to go back over there ok if this person remebers your face and beats the hell out of you don't come criing to me. I've my own ailments going on with me i'm not as young as i once was she's failing to see this as a deterent and i'm scared for her but in the same instance were i told her my feeling on the subject she chose to ignore me.so this is were the saying comes from

Oh dear. That sounds horrible. I think girls are probably much harder to handle than boys. Girls grow up so quickly. Sympathies.

when did it all get complicated? You might be closer to my mid-40s and when I was a kid all the parents did watch all the kids and you didn't want another parent to correct you because then you got it from mom and dad for screwing up, and for embaressing them.

What did the cops do to the kids?

Seven? Oh my god? How? Sorry 2 keep me dazed and confused. How do you do seven? Are you allowed to lock them up sometime?

AS for abuse. In Michigan you can strike a child if you don't leave a mark. Even with an "object" I know because I"m a mandated reported and get the training every year.

I'm 39 and i have 7 children ages range from 16,15,14,11,7,4,2 nd it's the three older ones that are giving me the most problems the younger 4 are doing fine and everything it's just hard sometimes i don't hit my kids not like when i was growing up everybody that knew you would punish you especially if they knew your family nowadays you can't say nothing to no ones child(ren) or they are ready to fight with you believe me i live in nyc the bronx and these children are not like when we were growing up they are totally disrespectful to you and authority fiquires i've seen them mine own included. but what can you do if i hit them i'm abusing them. it's like a no win situation with me i've put pins on them person in need of supervision. so i'll have to wait and see what happens from here on out. yeah i love chocolate
