i've made a  few friends by sharing a little of myself it is better to give than recieve(or so i hear). but i'm a generous
person to a fault.  anyway i had to go check out my youtube sitting here in my living room listening to the 80" music playing is just bring back great memories for me. i had a life no responsibilities meaning children of course
just my high school friends hanging out on the jetties drinking our beer and smoking our cigarrettesand basicaly being teens and even through the world was in a semi state of unrest we were just having fun. now that i'm older i'll be 39 on friday and hell i'm going to atlantic city yeah! i know that i can't turn back time believe me sometimes i wish i could just to relive my prom/graduating. just hanging tough as they say anyway i went over to my youtube and looked up culture club because they happened to be playing at the time and i sent it to my journal if you like them listen if not don't .but me myself i like real music were the guys were professing love to you in a respectable way not calling you out  your name and i believe alot of you know what i'm talking about with the music today need i say more didn't think so. so if you like it by all means enjoy my motto is i DON"T DISCRIMATE I INTERGRATE ^_^. well it is 3:44 in the morning i think i'm going to go over to adultfanfiction and see if anything new has gotten posted lately. that's the joy of being me i'm a very nocturnal person but i stay in my house talking to you lovely people in cyber world but never fear i shall be back to let you know if anything new was put up. if you have aff you might even see me comment if i like the story. so remember I"ll be back.

Hehe

I am 45, and I did the same thing. I think 80's music is the ultimate feel-good music. It was such an innocent time, I think. The 90's seemed to be much more materialistic. And yeah, the whole kids and family thing kind of puts a crimp in the hedonism and selfish kind of joy you have when you are young and have no responsibilities, but on the other hand it brings new joys of its own. Of course, I have to remind myself of that sometimes when I am butting heads with my daughter ;)

Have fun in Atlantic City :) I am still trying to figure out my own getaway place, sadly my daughter is attached to my apron strings so I am wondering if I will ever get a week alone with my hubby.

I thought you had headed down there a week ago? LOL. Advanced Happy Birthday to you! ^_^ I hope you have lots of fun there!

I'm 25 and I also find myself doing the same things. 1994 was a good year in music for me, probably because I was 13 years old then. It's funny how the music we stick with through our lives are those we listened to when we were teenagers! I think it's because of our extreme sttachment to music during our teenage years - music as a form of expression and rebellion! :P

how old is your daughter? and you i know what you not all music of the past few years is bad but alot of the music today is a put down to women. when i'm outside their blasting music from car stereos and it's so imflammatory against women ,remember i have 5 girls and two boys, my three older ones and the younger ones can recite these songs from front to back and sides ways if you ask them too. But when you ask them something relevant to history they'll look at you like huh what are you talking about. it's like they haven't a clue as to what your talking about. my 3rd oldest cannot understand basic math problems but if you ask her about a song on the radio she sure as heck can recite it word for word no problem it boggles my mind sometimes. my children range in age from my son being the oldest 16 my girls ages range from 15,13,10.7.4 my youngest is a terrible 2 boy even he knows the songs and i just have to sit back and sweatdrop at his antics sometimes but you know crazy as it may seem i wouldn't change a thing.

well when i first saw saiyuki reload was with my husband on animidnight which is cinemax
it was the last 3 episodes when goyjo went to confront the kami.
but i was into anime way before just not the one as of late then i saw samurai deeper kyo/mirage of blaze the only thing is out here once the whole showing of the episodes finish you have to wait for about two months for them to show again because they alternate so i had to keep watch for saiyuki reload to come on again. and the rest they say is history a yaoi girl was created

My daughter is 5.5, but the biggest problem with her/us is that we are very similar in temperament. So I understand her and her problems on a lot of levels that my hubby doesn't, but our buttons that sometimes get pushed are all the same ones, and we're both kind of volatile, so it can be frustrating for both of us at times. So, you know, you step back and remind yourself with gritted teeth that you're the adult here. LOL Luckily she's going ito kindergarten this fall, so I think that will be good for her and helping her develop a little more independance. She's going through a mommmy-mommy-mommy-phase right now, and it's kind of hard on me. I can only imagine how it must be with 7 kids!! :D
